Oxygène Shop Serre Chevalier

These Terms & Conditions apply to all bookings at Oxygène Shop Serre Chevalier, including ski, snowboard, e-mountain bike, road bike, guided activities, and equipment rentals (including climbing and via feratta harnesses). By booking, you accept these Terms in full.

1. Booking & Payment

Payment:

  • Full payment required to confirm booking.
  • Partial payment accepted; balance due 30 days before Service.
  • Methods: credit card (Visa, Mastercard), bank transfer, cheque, cash.
  • Prices in euros (€) may change due to supplier rates or economic conditions but do not affect confirmed bookings.
2. Modifications & Cancellations

Modifications:

  • Cannot be made within 30 days of the Service.
  • Before 30 days: possible, subject to availability. Additional costs disclosed.

Cancellations by Customer:

  • More than 30 days: full refund minus third-party costs (e.g., lift passes).
  • Less than 30 days: no refund.

Cancellations by Oxygène:

  • More than 30 days: refund deposit + 10%.
  • Less than 30 days: full refund + 10%.
  • Alternative sessions or refunds offered if canceled due to instructor illness or lack of participants.
  • No refunds for weather or natural events.
3. Liability & Safety
  • Ski, snowboard, climbing, via ferrata, and bike activities involve inherent risks.
  • Instructors are fully responsible for lessons; Oxygène is not liable for accidents, weather, lift issues, or Customer skill level.
  • Helmets are mandatory for children under 13 and highly recommended for all ski/snowboard.
  • Helmets are mandatory for all e-bike, mountain bike, and road bike participants.
  • Customers must follow trail, road, climbing, and via ferrata safety rules, and respect other users.
  • Customers must have personal accident insurance covering medical costs.
4. Equipment Rental

Ski & Snowboard Equipment:

  • On-site and chalet delivery/fitting available.
  • Equipment checked before rental; must be returned in the same condition.
  • Customers are responsible for damage, theft, or loss. Optional insurance available on site.
  • Valid credit card and ID required.

e-Mountain & Road Bikes:

  • Equipment must be returned in the same condition.
  • Deposit: €1,500 per bike; ID and credit card required.
  • Customers are responsible for damage caused by falls, misuse, poor storage, or theft.
  • Oxygène will repair or provide compensation for failures not caused by the Customer.

Climbing & Via Ferrata Harnesses:

  • Customers must return harnesses in good condition.
  • Helmets and other PPE must be worn where required.
  • Customers are responsible for damage, loss, or misuse.
  • Deposit and ID required; deposit returned on safe return of equipment.

Replacement costs (examples):

  • Adult e-bike: €4,800 / Child e-bike: €2,200
  • Road bikes: cost depends on bike category; details available in store
  • Components: derailleur €20–€89, full wheel €150–€180, helmet €40–€50
  • Ski & snowboard: replacement costs vary by category
  • Climbing harness: replacement cost as per equipment category
  • Rentals start from the moment of pickup and end upon return.

5. Boot fitting:

  • Professional boot fitting is an option when purchasing new boots from the Oxygène Shop.
  • Customers must attend scheduled fitting appointments.
  • Misuse or modification of boots outside fitting will not lead to a refund.
6. Lesson & Activity Guidelines
  • Arrive on time; late arrivals cannot claim refunds.
  • Group lessons (ski/snowboard): max 8 participants.
  • Trail, lift, or climbing route interruptions outside Oxygène control do not entitle Customers to refunds.
7. Photos & Videos
  • Customers may appear in promotional materials. Notify Oxygène in writing to opt out.
8. Personal Data
  • Processed for booking and Service management.
  • Customers can access, correct, or delete data via email: [email protected]
9. Complaints & Legal Jurisdiction
  • Submit complaints in writing; response within 3 weeks.
  • Mediation available if unresolved.
  • Governed by French law.
  • Jurisdiction: Albertville and Chambéry courts.
